I presented a presentation titled, “Be a Money Magnet: Developing Your Collaborative Funding Model” recently for the PA Department of Education and Center for Schools and Communities. The audience was school districts and after school providing community based organizations. Participates shared several examples along the way for each section. If you are a 501 c 3/nonprofit organization, I share this to encourage you to evaluate your collaborative funding model. Please let me know if it helps you!
The worksheet is simply types of revenue sources, the type of decision maker and the funders motivation for giving funds. For example, corporate foundations are generally flexible funders with minimal reporting requirements doing social investing for marketing purposes.
